Welcome back to school! I am Sara Zebolsky. I graduated from Liberty University with an M.A. in Human Services Counseling, and received my elementary teaching certification from Taylor University. I have lived in Burr Oak for 10 years, and three of my daughters have graduated from Burr Oak.
My teaching philosophy, in a nutshell, is that every kid deserves a cheerleader to reflect their potential back to them. :O)
My greatest goals for first and second grade ELA is to 1. Instill a love of reading. 2. Impress upon my students, on an elementary level, the power of writing.
The app I will be using mainly for virtual learning is seesaw. To get to the website you will need to go to app.seesaw.me. You will then need to select student and type in the code I will provide at the beginning of the year. If you lose the code, just email or text me and I will send it to you.
I am available by email: [email protected], class dojo or text/call. My cell phone number is 269-689-7873. My contact hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00 to 3:00 pm and Tuesdays from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. However, parents may contact me via Dojo, SeeSaw, email, or school voicemail at 269-489-5181 at any time.
*Check back HERE for future updates from our art teacher Ms. Wolfe with some amazing projects for our elementary students to do at home. Mr. Hunt and I are excited to see pictures of our 1st and 2nd graders' masterpieces!
